The images were reported to the principal by other boys, but the school waited approximately five days to contact police. A subpoena to Snapchat identified a second boy involved and additional victims.

Two 14-year-old male students created approximately 347 deepfake nude images and videos of 60 female victims, mostly minors, using AI nudify apps. They harvested photos from social media and yearbooks, sharing the results in a private Discord chat. The school initially failed to contact law enforcement, allowing the abuse to continue for six months.
