Michael Timothy Carey, 54, was arrested after detectives discovered 420 files of CSAM. During interviews, Carey admitted he had begun creating his own CSAM images using an AI generator, with a 'preferred age of eight to thirteen.'

Outcome: Pled guilty to 3 counts. Sentenced to 18 years in prison, followed by 10 years suspended, sex offender registration.
