The Athletic Director used OpenAI tools to create a deepfake audio recording of Principal Eric Eiswert appearing to make racist and antisemitic comments. The recording was emailed to teachers and went viral, resulting in threats against Eiswert. The perpetrator's motive was retaliation over a contract dispute.
Outcome: Perpetrator pleaded guilty to disruption of school activities (misdemeanor) and was sentenced to 4 months in jail. Separately indicted federally on child sexual exploitation charges.

A deepfake video depicting a Baltimore County Public Schools athletic director in a compromising position was circulated online. The video was digitally manipulated to falsely show the individual engaging in inappropriate acts.
Outcome: Under investigation by law enforcement.
