Keith Johnson, 58, a former woodshop teacher and soccer coach, was found to have used an AI application to alter images of clothed underage female students into nude photographs. This discovery was made during a prior voyeurism investigation.

Outcome: Charged with 10 felony counts, including child sexually abusive activity and possession of child sexually abusive material. Resigned from employment.

Three former students conspired to hack into female classmates' Snapchat accounts, steal real intimate photos, and share them online. One bathing suit photo of a 17-year-old was digitally manipulated to appear nude, but the case was primarily a hacking and theft scheme.

Outcome: All three pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud and related computer activity; received time served, probation, and restitution.

A health/PE teacher and boys basketball coach's ex-girlfriend discovered an AI-manipulated explicit image of two former students in a hidden folder on his iPad. He admitted to having 'the photograph generated' using an AI website, imposing nude bodies onto a legitimate photo to make the students appear naked.

Outcome: Resigned from Northview Public Schools and was arraigned on one count of producing child sexually abusive material and one count of using a computer to commit a crime. Case is proceeding.

A woodshop teacher and soccer coach was initially investigated after hidden cameras were found in his home. While seizing his phone for that case, investigators discovered he had photographed clothed underage female students and used an AI application to alter them into nude photographs. Many victims knew him as their teacher or coach.

Outcome: Arrested and charged with 4 counts of child sexually abusive activity, multiple computer-related felonies, and 4 counts of possession of child sexually abusive material. Fired and resigned from Coldwater Community Schools.

Jordan DeMay, 17, died by suicide within six hours of being sextorted by Nigerian brothers Samuel and Samson Ogoshi, who used a hacked Instagram account. The brothers were extradited from Nigeria and sentenced to 17.5 years each.

Outcome: Jordan DeMay died by suicide. Perpetrators extradited from Nigeria and sentenced to 17.5 years each.
