Shy Herbert McCutchan, 31, charged with sexual abuse of children for using AI to digitally alter an image of a Montana child taken from parents' public social media. Investigation started from NCMEC CyberTips.

Outcome: Charged with 3 felony counts. Faces up to 100 years in prison. Montana AG referenced House Bill 82.

Dalten Johnson, a former Cascade High School student, used AI to create CSAM from childhood social media photos of former classmates. He produced approximately 450 manipulated images of female children aged 6-17.
